Who We Are

The 2:8 Association (pronounced "two-eight association") is a network of like-hearted influencers who believe spending more time with people, and not extensive programs, is the way to lasting transformation. Our organization is led by a team of influencers with skills and talents that will help you maximize your time for relational ministry.

What We Do

We serve ministry. 2:8 Association is a combination of web-based software, knowledge and idea sharing, and networking to help you create a more effective ministry. To get a better feel for our tools and services, click here. Our desire is to listen well, encourage mightily and deliver relevantly.

Why We Exist

We believe the greatest solution to helping people enrich their faith lies in the context of mentoring/coaching relationships. Multiple studies have shown that young people are leaving their faith when they leave home, and most are not returning. Adults and families leave their faith when they feel it isn't relevant or personal. Relational ministry provides the direct, individualized support, encouragement and accountability that can address a person's specific needs. It also provides a mentor and coach who will help an individual grow in knowledge, wisdom, and confidence. Unfortunately, many churches and organizations pressure themselves into delivering highly entertaining programs - often, this exhausts the leader, fails to build real relationships, and doesn't address individual needs. Our mission is to give you more time for relational ministry that will energize and inspire everyone involved.

What Do We Believe

We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Bible, and that it is the supreme and final authority for faith and life.

  • We believe in the unity and trinity of the Godhead: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three persons are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections.
  • We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, our sole Mediator; we believe further in His eternal existence as God, His incarnation and virgin birth, His sinless life, His death on the cross as the substitutionary atonement for sin, His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead, His present ministry of intercession in heaven, and His personal, future return to earth.
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit, His personality and His activity in regeneration, sanctification and preservation.
  • We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned in Adam, and that he is now a sinner by nature and by choice.
  • We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, apart from human merit, works or ceremonies.
  • We believe that the church is a spiritual body of which Christ is the Head and that there is a twofold aspect to the church, the universal and the local.
  • We believe in the resurrection of the human body; the eternal existence of all men either in heaven or hell; in divine judgments, rewards and punishments.
  • We believe that we are under obligation to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.
